Our Story

Saxon Engineering is an Adelaide-based steel fabrication company specialising in custom-engineered steel products for industrial, commercial, government, and private customers. Proudly South Australian, we design and manufacture practical steel solutions that are built to perform in real-world environments.

With decades of hands-on experience in steel fabrication and manufacturing, Saxon Engineering was established to provide a reliable, no-nonsense approach to engineered steel products. Our focus has always been on quality workmanship, functional design, and long-term durability — not mass-produced, off-the-shelf solutions that don’t quite fit the job.

From the beginning, our business has grown through strong relationships, repeat clients, and word-of-mouth referrals. Today, Saxon Engineering manufactures a wide range of engineered steel products including AC condenser cages, backflow RPZ cages, security cages, plinth surrounds, traffic management racks, sandbagging trailers, and custom steel fabrications. All products are manufactured locally in Adelaide, allowing us to maintain strict quality control and respond quickly to client requirements.

We work closely with customers throughout the process — from concept and design through to fabrication and delivery. Some clients come to us with detailed drawings and specifications, while others need guidance refining a design or developing a solution from scratch. In both cases, our practical engineering knowledge and fabrication experience allow us to deliver outcomes that are fit for purpose and built to last.
